Janelle Monáe

After playing The Archandroid by Janelle Monáe solidly for the past month I've come to the decision that something pretty spectacular would have to be released this year to knock it off my number one spot. It's epic. It's so "up my street" I can see it through the window.

Absinthe Frappe

The other day on Twitter (that's a very modern sentence, innit?) there was a conversation between Simon Gane, Faz Choudhury, Jamie Smart and Rob Davis (instigated by Jamie) about ice cream-based alcoholic drinks. Simon mentioned that whilst in New Orleans he'd seen a bar offering an Absinthe Frappe. It was then decided that I was the man to draw "Absinthe Frappe". To quote Jamie "a crime-solving sleuth probably with a bone disease, dislikes sunlight, wears a white suit, loathed by all crime syndicates, likes an obscure tobacco". Well, here he is...

The Angel Gang

The other day on Twitter, pencil-genius Warwick Johson-Cadwell asked what he could draw in the 30 minutes he had left at home before he went out to sea (yes, you heard right - out to sea!) I requested the Angel Gang. Warwick dutifully obliged and asked me to draw them in return so here they are - Mean Machine, Link, Pa and Tom Petty, er sorry, Junior. I've missed Fink. He was never really one to turn up for family portraits anyway.
