Tippy's coming - look busy!
To coincide with the release of the 400 page behemoth that is "Felt Mistress : Creature Couture" (which I'm sure I've mentioned once or twice!) comes the very first Felt Mistress vinyl toy. And who better to immortalised in vinyl than everyone's favourite orange-booted, wide eyed, sugar buzzer Tippy! Crazy Label (the brilliant company who produced my Inspector Cumulus figure last year) have created a standard Tippy (available from designer toy stockists worldwide) and a limited edition gold Tippy. Gold Tippy will be available exclusively from Blank Slate books when you order the special "Creature Couture/Gold Tippy" edition by simply clicking HERE. Here's some pics of both versions and Gold Tippy in his special edition box designed by Woodrow Phoenix. Let Tippy into your life, you know you want to!

Inspector Cumulus Toy

Here's Cumulus! Well, not really. This incredible virtual sculpt has been created by the brilliant Vijay Paul of Vdesign. To see the original illustration that it's based on click HERE. The next step for me now is to shop this around and see if any designer vinyl companies would be interested in producing it. If you have any thoughts I'd love to hear them.

Professor Skeffington.

Introducing the latest collaboration with my partner,(in every sense of the word), Louise AKA Felt Mistress. This is Professor Skeffington. He's a professor in Nautical Activities and an avid connoisseur of Aquatic Jazz (Thelonius Monkfish, Eric Dolphin, that kinda thing). He stands 30 inches tall, is made from fleece and comes in a combinations of orange, black and grey. £30 to you, squire. Available soon from Tokyo Jazz Panda in Chester and direct from the shop section of my website.

Vote Now!

Louise has completed work on the third our monster politicans. Here's the latest - Lady Jemimarragh Grunk along with my original sketch. She joins Leonard Groyle and Hugh Scruntin for the hotly contested seat of Behemoth-On-Sea. Click HERE to vote.

The Behemoth-On-Sea By Elections

Remember the drawing of a monster politician I posted the other day? (Of course you remember. It's less than a week ago! What do I think you are? Frickin' goldfish!) Well, Louise saw the sketch and decided to make one of them in full 3D glory. The attention to detail is verging on the obsessive compulsive - his trousers have got a fly, his jacket is fully lined with working pockets. She was about to make him a pair of y-fronts when I pointed out that it may have been a bridge too far. I love her an' that but this is slightly mental, innit? More details on Louise's new blog here.

Hey! Hey! Bunko!

A new toy. Meet Bunko - Kaiju's country cousin. Kaiju likes those crunchy high rises blocks, Bunko likes the chewy trees. Created this weekend by Louise (with the help of Mr Woodrow Phoenix - antler and eye detail consultant!). Now available to buy from the shop on my website.

Kaiju!

The latest batch of Kaiju (now past the 50 mark!) made by Louise. Here they are with some point of sale display I've made for the window of Tokyo Jazz Panda in Chester. If you're ever in Chester pop in and say "Konichiwa". Also available at the Here Gallery in Bristol and Falmouth or through my website.
