I'll be one of the contributing artists for Movember this year. The Gallery of Mo is now open so if you fancy a bespoke portrait resplendent with moustache (similar to the one of me above) then just click HERE. It's all for a charity!

GULP at Telford's, Chester
I went to see Gulp at Telford's Warehouse in Chester last night. They were wonderful (imagine Bob Moog rewiring the jukebox at the Green Man on Summerisle). They comprise of Guto Pryce (bass player from the legendary Super Furry Animals) and vocalist Lindsey Leven with Gid Goudry on guitar and Jonny Gumbo on drums. They've got a great first single, Game Love, and a brilliant logo (courtesy of Mr Peter Fowler). Go have a listen.

Anxieteam at Common
Last night I went to see Anxieteam at Common in Manchester. They're made up of my good buddy Mr Jon Burgerman and my new friend Mr Jim Avignon. If you've never seen Anxieteam then just imagine that Tony Hart has bought the Pet Shop Boys a ukelele and forced them to record an album whilst doing a trolley dash around Holland & Barret after too many fizzy drinks. The evening started with a mask making workshop (you don't get that with U2). Here's some sketches.
David Lynch
David Lynch portrait. Lynch has great hair to draw. Don't really know if I'd done it justice - it's like a grey flame!

Huggers
A few sketches of Huggers from my sketchbook last week.
Huggers are extremely skittish creatures. They can be traumatized by almost anything - birdsong, ringtones, the opening of an envelope, the sound of a falling leaf, an insect yawning, a particularly loud shirt - and can be in full hug mode in seconds. They mean no harm but unfortunately don't know their own strength. Avoid at all costs standing next to a full grown hugger at a bus stop.

Berlin Sketchbook
Here's a few sketches from our recent trip to Berlin. So many nice cafes, bars and museums to sit sketching in. Wish I could spend more time in Berlin just drawing.
From top to bottom - Cafe Cinema, Ramones Museum, To Be Or Not To Be, Katie's Blue Cat Bakery (best cup of coffee I had in Berlin!), Starbucks.
