A round-up of my fictional landscapes from the last couple of days. Including a painting (it was supposed to be watercolour but I couldn't find my watercolours!). I don't know where these are going but I feel there's plenty of scope for more. It might even make an interesting exhibition. If you're a possible venue please get in touch.

Really like these, sometimes it's best when you don't know why you're doing something, no rules are often the best.
The flatish interlocking shapes lend themselves to cardboard constructions.
I love this stuff! If it's not too anal a question - what pens/paper do you use?

Kev - I'm really enjoying just working stuff out on the page. There's no end result for any of these but hopefully something will occur.
Ade - I'm drawing with Pentel Colour Brush pens. A black and grey. Because you have to pump the ink to get them to flow it's possible to make them either inky or dry. I really like them. I tend to use cheap photocopy paper (although these are drawn in a sketchbook from Paperchase). I don't get on well with higher quality paper!

Thanks Jonathon. I have a couple of those pens - only used them for greywashes so far - use a Kuretake or Pentel for black ink.
Interesting comments on paper - I tend to use a fairly costly hotpressed watercolour paper - 140lb in weight because I'm a pretty aggressive penciller and tend to stab my tech pencil through the paper if I'm not careful and erase alot too ! I need a resilient paper which Waterford/Saunders is.
