"Lost in the Woods" print and new sketches
"Lost in the Woods" is a new print that will be available in an edition of 20 (signed and numbered) in my shop on Monday (27th February). It's based on a sketch I did earlier this week (see below). As you can see from the sketches I've recently bought an orange brush pen.

Mutated Conurbations
A round-up of my fictional landscapes from the last couple of days. Including a painting (it was supposed to be watercolour but I couldn't find my watercolours!). I don't know where these are going but I feel there's plenty of scope for more. It might even make an interesting exhibition. If you're a possible venue please get in touch.

60 Creatures
We're about to start work on a new Felt Mistress project so I bought a new sketchbook to fill with creatures for inspiration (more news soon!). I was initially only going to do 20 but the sketchbook had 60 pages so...
One sketchbook, one week, 2 brushpens, 60 creatures.

The Reptile
My contribution to the Mooks' "Draw Hammer Horror" project. I saw a still from The Reptile in a book about Horror films when I was a kid and it terrified me. When I finally got to see the film it was enjoyable but nowhere near as scary as turning the page and seeing that face for the first time. Click HERE to see the rest of the contributions.

Johnny Alpha
2000 AD is 35 years old this month and I've been asked by Down the Tubes blog to answer a few questions about my memories of 2000 AD (seeing McMahon's artwork for the first time!) and to supply my own version of a character from the comic's history. I fought the overwhelming urge to draw Dredd and instead decided on Johnny Alpha AKA Strontium Dog - the lantern-jawed, white-eyed, Keith Richards-lookalike, mutant Bounty Hunter. Here's my version along with a few lines from the song I'm convinced played some part in his creation.
