Shaped Painting

First of my shaped painting for September's Inky Goodness show. This is on MDF which was cut to shape and then primed and painted on to. Louise is currently working on some 3D pieces to go with them. More soon.

Paris Painting

A painting for my sister's birthday. She wanted something Parisian with the Eiffel tower in it somewhere. Brief fulfilled! 60cm x 80cm.

Creepy Tree-ptych

Here's a "tree-ptych" (see what I did there?) featuring two creepy trees and a tree creature. Once again, acrylics and POSCA.

Blue Tree Canvas

More messing around with POSCAs, acrylics and canvases. I seem to either draw girls with long complicated hair or stylised trees. I should draw a complicated hair girl/tree combo. Oh, wait a minute, I have.

A piece I did today at the Future Savings event in Chorlton (alongside Julian Kimmings and Wil Hesketh). To be auctioned in aid of Cancer Research next month. Phew, it was hot!

Frankie, Do You Remember Me?

Here's my contribution to Paul Cooper's "A Patchwork of Flesh" project. HIs aim is to amass as many portraits of Frankenstein's monster in as many different styles as possible for an ongoing art project and future exhibition. I couldn't resist. This has the distinction of being both the smallest finished piece I've ever produced (a teeny 2.5 by 3.5 inches) and the first painting I've done for years. Go on, your turn now.

Abstract Canvas

Canvas filled with the shapes I usually incorporate into clouds, hair, trees, etc. This was painted over an existing painting that I never finished. I think the grey, red and white colour scheme gives it the feel of an eighties quilt cover. Nowt wrong with that.
